Special Election - Indiana Congressional District 7

Due to the untimely death of Congresswoman Julia Carson in December voters in Congressional District 7 will vote on Tuesday March 11 to elect a new Congressperson. The race will be between Andre Carson (D) and John Elrod (R) and Sean Shepard (L). The AFL-CIO has carefully researched the candidates on many issues and has endorsed Andre Carson as the candidate who will best fight for Indianapolis working families on issues such as health care, fair trade deals, and the right of workers to organize.
